Rubberkap Rubber Flooring
SKU: 011RUBRL0301
Training with weights on the floor puts more demands on the flooring than any other area of the gym. Rubberkap Rubber Flooring is made from 100% expanded rubber and is 5 mm thick, absorbing the impact of dumbbells, kettlebells, and free weights without deforming—the material’s recovery memory ensures that the flooring returns to its original shape after every drop, protecting both the person training and the original floor underneath. Each roll covers 10 m² in a single 100 cm x 10 m piece, eliminating longitudinal seams and creating a continuous, visually clean, and safe surface for any movement.
The non-slip texture maintains grip even in sweaty or high-intensity environments, while the rubber acts as a thermal and acoustic barrier, reducing the chill from cold floors and dampening impact noise for lower floors and neighbors. Installation is straightforward, using vinyl adhesive or simply stretching and securing it without construction work; it can be cut with a utility knife to fit any layout. Available in combinations such as black and yellow, blue and black, gray and blue, and others, Rubberkap adapts to the space’s visual identity—from home gyms to professional boxes—with the same everyday performance.

Prepare the base floor
Make sure the surface is clean, dry, flat, and free of dust, grease, or irregularities that could compromise adhesion or the proper placement of the roll.
|
|
2
|
Plan the layout
Unroll the material over the area and check the alignment before securing it. Consider the direction of the roll to minimize seams and optimize continuous coverage.
|
|
3
|
Cut as needed
Use a knife or utility knife to adjust the length or cut around corners and irregular contours. Make the cuts with the roll stretched out on a firm surface.

|
Secure with vinyl adhesive (when necessary)
For permanent installations or areas subject to significant lateral movement, apply vinyl adhesive to the base surface, position the roll, and press firmly. Wait for the curing time indicated by the adhesive manufacturer before allowing traffic.

|
Glue-free installation (optional)
In areas without excessive lateral movement, the roll can simply be stretched out and positioned without adhesive, making future removal and repositioning easier.

Routine cleaning
Maintaining expanded rubber flooring is simple and can be done with common household products.
Avoid abrasive products, solvents, or substances that may degrade the rubber. If you are unsure about a specific cleaning product, test it in an inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire surface.
