1	Prepare the surface The surface must be clean, dry, and level. Decorative grass can be installed over concrete, cement, ceramic, MDF, drywall, wood, or any flat, stable surface—horizontal or vertical.
2	Calculate the area Measure the area to be covered and add a 10% allowance for cuts and adjustments. Each roll covers 50 m² (2 m × 25 m). The roll has a fixed width of 2 meters—for panels and irregular cuts, add a 15% allowance.
3	Lay out and position Unroll the grass over the surface and position it according to the desired layout. Make sure all the blades are pointing in the same direction for a uniform appearance.
4	Make the cuts Always cut from the backing side with a utility knife and metal ruler—never through the blades. For curves and irregular shapes, use sturdy scissors. Cutting through the backing ensures clean edges and prevents the blades from fraying.
5	Secure the grass For horizontal surfaces, use contact adhesive specifically designed for synthetic grass or fastening staples along the edges. For vertical surfaces (panels and walls), use contact adhesive, industrial-strength double-sided tape, or staples—the flexible latex backing adheres well to MDF, drywall, and masonry.

Temporary installation

For events and temporary uses, the grass can be laid without fastening on flat surfaces. On temporary vertical panels, double-sided tape is sufficient to keep it in place during the event.

Routine cleaning

Kapazi decorative artificial grass does not easily retain dirt and does not require intensive maintenance. Cleaning is simple and can be done by anyone without special equipment—in indoor areas, a damp cloth is enough; outdoors, water and mild soap do the job.

Remove solid debris

Use a soft-bristle broom or vacuum cleaner to remove leaves, dust, pet hair, and other debris from the surface. For small pieces and panels, a dry cloth is sufficient.

Apply the cleaning solution

Spread mild soap over the surface with a damp cloth—it is not necessary to scrub. The grass composition makes it easy to remove dirt without effort.

Rinse thoroughly

Rinse with plenty of clean water to completely remove soap residue. Soap left on the blades can make the surface sticky and attract more dust.

Remove excess water and dry

Use a soft squeegee to remove excess water and let it dry naturally. In indoor areas, ventilation is sufficient. Do not use a hair dryer or direct heat sources on the blades.

How to treat stains

Grease, drink, or ink stains: apply water and mild soap directly to the stain and wait 2 to 3 minutes before rinsing. For more resistant stains, baking soda diluted in water neutralizes odors and makes removal easier. Never use stain removers, acetone, or solvent-based products.

Pet care

Remove solid waste with a glove or disposable scoop before washing. Then apply water and mild soap as usual and rinse thoroughly. The hypoallergenic and antifungal composition of Kapazi grass prevents the proliferation of bacteria and eliminates odors with regular washing.

For outdoor gardens, pool surrounds, or any area with regular foot traffic, the Landscapingline is the correct choice — it has a draining backing and fibers made to withstand daily outdoor use.

Can decorative grass be installed on a vertical wall (green wall)?

Yes, this is one of the main advantages of the decorative line compared to others. Its latex base is flexible and lightweight, which facilitates installation on vertical surfaces such as drywall, MDF, masonry, and wood walls. It can be fixed with contact glue, industrial double-sided tape, or staples. For panels in outdoor areas exposed to the sun, check the UV protection intensity of the chosen model and prefer glue for greater durability. Cutting with scissors or a utility knife allows the grass to be adapted to any panel, niche, or frame shape.

Is decorative grass safe for children and pets?

Yes, the composition is hypoallergenic and antifungal, free from toxic substances, and safe for skin contact. For occasional use at events, playrooms, or indoor environments with children and pets, it works very well. However, if the goal is to create an outdoor area where the animal circulates daily, the Landscapingline is more suitable: it has a draining base that facilitates urine drainage and more resistant fibers for frequent trampling. The decorative option was not designed to withstand daily traffic – its primary criterion is appearance, not durability.

How do I calculate the quantity needed for my project?

Kapazi decorative turf is sold in rolls of 2m × 25m (50m²). To calculate the quantity, measure the length and width of the area to be covered and multiply the values. Please note that the roll has a fixed width of 2 meters— in smaller areas or irregularly shaped areas, there will be excess. For vertical panels and custom shapes, add 10% to 15%to the total calculated to compensate for cutting losses. Does decorative grass get very hot in the sun?

On intensely sunny days, any synthetic surface retains more heat than natural grass. In the decorative line, this is less relevant because its primary use is on vertical surfaces (panels, walls) and indoor or protected environments, where direct sun exposure is lower. For external horizontal surfaces fully exposed to the sun - such as gardens and leisure areas - the recommended product is the Landscaping line, which was specifically developed for this type of outdoor application, with threads and a base suitable for permanent outdoor use.
