1	Prepare the surface The surface must be clean, dry, and level. It can be installed over concrete, cement, ceramic tile, compacted gravel, wood, or natural soil. Remove stones, roots, and uneven areas before beginning. In uncovered outdoor areas, ensure a minimum slope of 1% so rainwater drains properly.
2	Calculate the area Measure the area to be covered and add a 10% allowance for cuts and adjustments. Each roll covers 50 m² (2 m × 25 m). The roll has a fixed width of 2 meters—in larger areas, plan the seams in advance to avoid waste.
3	Unroll and position Unroll the grass over the surface and position it according to the desired layout. Make sure all the blades point in the same direction for a uniform, natural appearance.
4	Make the cuts Use a utility knife and metal ruler to cut to the required measurements. Always cut from the backing side (base), never through the blades. This ensures clean edges and prevents fraying.
5	Secure the grass For permanent installation, use contact adhesive specifically for synthetic grass or fixing staples along the edges. Over natural soil, secure it with metal pins, eliminating the need for a subfloor. For seams between sections, use specialized seaming tape on the backing and align the blades in the same direction so the joint is invisible.
6	Brush the blades After installation, brush the grass with a soft-bristled broom against the direction in which the blades lie to lift them and add volume to the product. This final step ensures the garden has a natural, uniform appearance.

Large or complex areas

For areas larger than 30 m², pool surrounds with curves, or projects with many cuts, we recommend installation by a qualified professional. Poorly executed seams are the main cause of synthetic grass coming loose and developing wrinkles over time.

Routine cleaning

Landscaping grass is exposed to outdoor conditions—rain, wind, leaves, sun, and light foot traffic. Cleaning is simple and infrequent, but periodically brushing the blades is essential to maintain their upright position and the grass’s natural appearance over time.

Remove leaves and debris

Use a soft-bristled broom or leaf blower to clear leaves, branches, sand, and other materials from the surface. Avoid metal rakes—they can tear the grass backing.

Using a soft-bristled broom, brush the grass against the direction in which the blades lie to lift them and maintain a natural, full appearance. This step is especially important in high-traffic areas.

Wash with water and mild soap

Apply mild soap diluted in water using a soft broom or a hose with a gentle spray. For larger areas, a pressure washer with the spray adjusted may be used—keep it at least 30 cm from the surface and do not concentrate the spray on a single spot.

Rinse and drain

Rinse with plenty of water. Kapazi grass’s integrated drainage system ensures rapid drainage—the surface dries naturally within minutes after washing.

Brush the blades after drying

When the grass is dry, brush it again to lift the blades and restore their natural texture and appearance. This final step keeps the garden looking well maintained.

Pet care

Remove solid waste with a glove or scoop before washing. Rinse the area with a hose on a gentle spray to dilute the urine—the drainage system facilitates rapid runoff. Apply water and mild soap, then rinse thoroughly to eliminate odors. Do not use concentrated disinfectants—they damage the blades and backing.
