50mm Sports Synthetic Grass
SKU: Z146J320114990
Kapazi Sports Synthetic Grass was developed for those who refuse to settle for a half-finished field. With a thickness of 50 mm, a double latex backing, and maximum UV protection, it withstands cleat impact, continuous heavy foot traffic, and high-frequency sports use—without losing its color, structure, or performance.
Available in Elite (two-tone olive + emerald monofilament, for high-performance fields) and Arena (emerald fibrillated fiber, offering better value for society soccer). Installed with silica sand and crumb rubber infill for genuine cushioning and ball performance comparable to natural grass. Antifungal and hypoallergenic, with integrated drainage that eliminates water buildup after rain.
Sold exclusively in full rolls—green: 4 m × 30 m (120 m²) / white for field markings: model-specific rolls. For exclusive use on sports fields and courts.

Prepare the base
The base must be clean, level, and have a minimum slope of 1% for proper drainage. Compatible surfaces: concrete, asphalt, and compacted crushed aggregate. Irregularities in the base will appear on the grass surface after installation—correct them before starting.

Calculate the area
Each roll covers 120 m² (4 m × 30 m). Plan the field layout before cutting to minimize seams and ensure that the fibers of all rolls point in the same direction. For fields with white marking grass, calculate the white rolls separately.
3
Unroll and position the rolls
Unroll the rolls over the base and position them with all fibers pointing in the same direction. Let the grass acclimatize for a few hours before securing it, especially on intensely sunny days—the material may expand slightly with heat.

Join the seams
At the joints between rolls, use seam tape specifically designed for synthetic grass, applied underneath with polyurethane adhesive. Align the fibers in the same direction so the seam is invisible. Poorly executed seams compromise the field’s appearance and durability.

Secure the edges
Glue the perimeter edges with adhesive specifically designed for synthetic grass or secure them with finishing profiles. On asphalt bases, bonding across the entire surface is recommended for greater stability.

Apply the infill
Distribute washed silica sand as the first infill layer, followed by SBR crumb rubber as the second layer. The infill stabilizes the fibers, provides cushioning, and improves ball performance. Use a stiff broom or power brush to distribute it evenly and uniformly.
7
Final brushing
After applying the infill, brush the entire surface with a soft-bristle broom to raise the fibers and ensure even distribution of the infill. This step determines the field’s final appearance and performance.
Routine cleaning
Sports turf has a different maintenance protocol from other product lines—brushing is the primary method of care, not washing. The field contains infill (silica sand and crumb rubber) between the fibers, and regular brushing keeps this material evenly distributed, the fibers upright, and game performance consistent.
Recommended frequency
Kapazi sports grass, when properly maintained—especially with regular brushing and infill replenishment—has an estimated service life of 8 to 12 years under intensive sports use.
